Most eLadder students are outside the United States. This page answers the questions that only apply to you.

What does work

Studying from where you are.

  • You study from your own country, keeping your job and your residence.
  • Your qualifications from outside the United States are assessed on their own terms, and the admissions page states what is required at each level.
  • If English is not your first language, the Associate in English as a Second Language exists as a route in rather than a barrier.
  • Fees can be paid by bank transfer where card payment is impractical.

Recognition

Will my employer or my government recognise it?

This is the question that matters most, and the answer depends on eLadder's accreditation, which is in progress. We will publish the position here as soon as it is confirmed.

Recognition in India, the Gulf and the European Union each work differently, and in several countries a foreign qualification has to be evaluated by a named national body before an employer or a university will accept it. When our accreditation position is settled, this page will set out what it means country by country rather than in general terms.
